  1. During your presentation you described of an earthquake and how it was so powerful that it caused Ansel to fall into a wall, breaking his nose and deforming it. I was completely unaware of this until now. You both did an amzing job of taking turns and sharing information. Both of you knew your facts without having to look at your notecard. If I were to criticize anything I would suggest less facts next time.

  2. I liked how someone commented that "there is a creative and logical side of your brain" and then explained how it related to Ansel Adams. A positive criticism is that you had very good eye contact with the class. I think that your presentation was very good but if I had to criticism something I would say is you could've had more of his work displayed throughout the slides.

  4. I learned that Ansel Adams was known for his black and white photographs and liked to take pictures of natural photography in general. You both talked really well and gave great detail about his early life, education, and career.

One thing I would recommend is to put less facts and move less when explaining everything.

  5. I learned about who Ansel Adams was and the iconic influence he had on the photography industry. I thought it was cool how he didn't see a need for color to capture the beauty of a photo. Definitely a trend that caught on, Good job guys!

  6. There wasn't much I could say other than great job! It was a very well prepared presentation that was very informing. You each seemed to talk the same amount and you both talked very well.

  7. I liked how you did a good job giving an overview of your person as well as well as pictures he has taken. One suggestion I have is to go into who he has inspired with his work and how.

  8. Ansel Adams use of black and white is very cool because now a days its all about color and the vividness of a picture. Both of you did well at describing Ansel in this project. It sounded like you guys were very educated about this. I think more pictures would have been good but all around you did well on this project.

  10. From your presentation I learned that Ansel Adams was taken under the wing by another person. Both of you seemed to know your stuff very well. Overall this presentation was excellent. It had very good details of his pictures and the meanings.

  11. I have never heard of Ansel Adams before this presentation and it was very interesting and cool to learn about him. I like the fact that he really enhanced his pictures by using only black and white contrast to give it more detail. You guys did a great job splitting up the work and teaching us about your person versus just reading off your slides!

  12. You guys were really prepared, and I could tell that you put in a lot of hard work in making this presentation. You really knew a lot about your topic, and that made it easy for us to get to know a little more about him.
Not a whole lot I didn't like about this presentation, I thought you guys did great!

  13. I thought both of you seemed very prepared, and knew your information well. I thought that it was interesting that Ansel Adams thought that color distracts from the picture, and that he received a doctorate from both Harvard and Yale. I don't have anything negative to say about your presentation, you both did really well.

  14. During this presentation, I learned a lot about Ansel Adams and doe background about him. I learned that he earned his doctorate from both Yale and Harvard University. Also, I found it interesting that Ansel made/replicated about 90,000 prints of photos that were taken by Alan-Bender. Something I felt that could have been improved is that there could have been some type of video clip in here or a little more visual.

Overall, this presentation was very good and well thought out!
