  1. I really like how you used your hands while presenting, it helped by catching my attention and made me feel more engaged with the presentation. All around I was unable to find something to critique. Great job!

  2. I really liked when you explained the symbols that the uniforms had. I never would have thought there were so many problems going on with racism in this. I couldn't find anything to criticize you on. This was a very well done presentation.

  3. One thing i liked is that you included and explained the symbolic things the athletes wore. I had only known of the black glove but not know the rest so it was interesting. It was hard to find something to critique although if i had to pick something i would say don't use casual terms such as "dude".

  4. Your presentation was great and I couldnt really find anything to critique. All your info was good and it was well placed. You also got all the points as to why it was iconic

  5. One thing you both did very well was not stumbling up on words while you were talking.
One thing to work on I think would to master the material a bit better because at some points you were reading off the slides, but overall very well done

  6. I never knew about the "silent gestures" and how they represented the blacks. You made it sound more meaningful and rit eally shows what they've gone through. One thing I would critique is not reading off the slide as much.

  7. I never knew that they had so many symbols and how each meant something unique. You guys sounded like you knew your material but I would say just to use more images.

  8. I learned a lot during this presentation about the Black salute during the olympics. I like how you went through and gave the meaning of each article of clothing and what it represented. One thing I would maybe have done was talked a little bit more on the modern day comparisons even though there aren't a whole lot that directly relate.

  9. I thought you both did a really good job! You both seemed confident, and seemed like you knew your information. If I had to pick out something you could work on, it would be to maybe add a modern day comparison, to someone that we would be able to compare him to.

  10. Did a great job with the use of the speech given by Tommie Smith, and capturing a primary source of exactly what was going on at the time. Also learned a great deal of how every little thing the athletes did and wore, had a meaning behind it supporting equal-rights. One criticism about the presentation was that you guys could have used a note-card instead of reading straight off the power-point.

  11. You both seemed well informed and knew what you were talking about. Learned a lot about what different groups values and goals were, like the black panther group. Just next time have a modern day exile we could compare the movement to.

  12. This presentation was really cool to me, I learned a lot about the Black Power Salut and the olympics which I didn't know much about to begin with. I really liked how you explained all the gestures and what everything meant like the unzipped jacket or the black gloves they wore. I really don't have anything to critique, you guys did great!
