  1. The use of the clip was very well done. I knew of his works as an actor and television series, but never knew about his stand-up comedy acts, so the addition of the clip was a nice was of opening up that part of Cosby's life to me.
One thing that could have been used in your presentation is the recent impact he has made, not just on comedians, but to the film industry and the equal-rights movement he fought for until being one of the first African American television stars.

  2. Before the presentation I was unaware that Bill Cosby was the creator of Fat Albert. Thats crazy to think that Fat Albert episodes were based on Bill Cosby's life. You both did a great job and I really liked the comedy clip that you added into the presentation. The only thing to criticize would be loss of what to talk about during the presentation.

  3. The clip that was used was very funny and it made the audience more into your presentation as a whole. It got the listeners engaged into what you had to say about Bill Cosby. I believe that you could have included more things about why he was such an influential person. I felt like it was mostly about Bill's comedy career.

  4. I learned that he used to sell the sweaters he wore in the show and that he used to do stand-up comedy before his show. Everyone knew him for The Bill Cosby Show but I don't think many people know about his stand-up comedy like I didn't. You both gave great examples of his early life and what he did before he became and icon.

One thing I might recommend is explaining more of how he was an icon, rather than what he's done. For example, mentioning more of how his show wasn't like the typical show that made African Americans look bad at the time. It was one of the first to show a more positive side.

  5. I have never watched his shows before but it was really interesting to learn that he also fought against racial barriers by airing the show. You guys did a good job and used a good example of his work. I would just make your presentation a little longer next time

  6. A very interesting topic especially with the recent controversy. I remember watching the Cosby Show as a little kid you both were well preparred and talked evenly but if I could criticize one thing it would be voice volume.

  7. I felt your presentation was really great and i like that you hit so many points as to why he's an icon. I felt that your modern day comparison was spot on. The clip you guys showed was very funny as well

  8. I really liked your presentation, especially because I grew up watching the Crosby Show and always loved it and Fat Albert. The clip you guys used was really funny and definitely got my attention. I also didnt know that he created "Crosby Sweaters" which is really cool since he wore those in his show. The only thing I can say is that when you guys spoke it was a little monotone and not very engaging, and the slides were a little bare but other than that you both did a good job.

  9. I liked your use of the comedy clip in your presentation. I think it really helped show what kind of personality Cosby has that you really cant put into words easily. One suggestion is to go into more detail about the social impact of his beliefs.

  11. Your presentation was very interactive and I learned a lot about Bill Cosby's career outside of the Cosby Show. I didn't know he ever produced an album of his and find that to be very interesting because a lot of comedians followed that lead such as Adam Sandler for example.
One thing that I would recommend would be to include more reasons of why he was so iconic.

  12. I learned from your presentation that Bill Cosby did more than just his show. I learned that he did comedy also. The comedy clip was very good and kept my attention throughout. I also liked how you used images that related well to your presentation. I think that you could've showed why he was an icon a little better.

  13. I thought you did really well on your presentation. You both split up the talking, and seemed to understand what you were talking about. I found it really interesting that Cosby sweaters actually became a thing. One thing I would change would be to talk more about how he was iconic.

  14. During this presentation, I learned that the Bill Cosby show broke a lot of race barriers in the world, which wasn't exactly a huge shock to me. I found it interesting that you compared Bill Cosby to Chris Rock for the fact that he nada similar acting style. Something that I felt could have been improved was that you both should have went in depth more about the fact that the Bill Cosby show broke race barriers.

Overall, this presentation was very good!
